Hmmm.... Not so bad ~

Assalamualaikum...

Yo, yo, yo ~ !!! What's up, brothers and sisters, sir and madam? Hehe...

Many may wonder why I wrote my posts some in Malay and the other time in English. Simple, I'm a Malay girl and I can speak English. If I know how to speak in Mandarin, Japanese and Korean, I will also write in those languages. Unfortunately, I can't. -_-"

For today's post , I want to tell about the hotel that I'd recently stayed in Georgetown, Pulau Pinang, Malaysia. My friend, N, and I were really rushing to go there since we need to meet with a group of people. We drive-through  KFC and bought a quick lunch and we ate in the car. It's almost 4 when we left Alor Setar toll. We get to stay in Hotel Sentral Georgetown for our accommodation. When I wanted to set the GPS to the hotel, I searched and searched. Nope, nothing came out. I'd try different names for the hotel. It's stated no matches found. I give up. After we entered Penang, I tried again. I tried searching in point of interest for Garmin and search for near lodgings. Finally, the name came out on the screen.

We followed the GPS, entered the supposed alley and it brought us to the old Sentral Hotel. Argh! N and I complaint in the car. It's the alley after that ! 아이고 ~ ... Finally we arrived at the hotel.

After we checked-in, we were told that we got room 113 as the group that we need to meet had booked the room for a night for us. When we entered the room, I had a thought in my head. "Ermm, not that bad. Quite a nice room."

"The TV is not that strategic", I thought.
From the window in our room, we could clearly see the KOMTAR, which can also be seen from the Penang Bridge. We rested, bathed, and prayed before going out that night. For Muslims, it may be difficult to find halal restaurants since near the lodging, you could find plenty of Chinese restaurants. So, we decided to eat at the Old Town White Coffee (OTWC), just 5 minutes driving distance from the hotel.

The ambiance is really cozy at night. I felt really calm but the calmness couldn't suppress my hunger. Hehehe... ^_~  Well, what do you expect when you had a burger from KFC for lunch? An extreme hunger !!! So, we ordered and ate. I chose my favourite drink whenever I came here: Cold Old Town Whifte Coffee ~ !!! Yummy ~ Oh, oh.. OTWC is also beside the Starbucks coffee...! So, those who enjoy coffee and wanted to hang out with friends, you can come here and choose the place yourselves. Hmmm...

I really want to go there but since I already had my coffee intake, maybe next time.. Hiks...
So, we stayed at the hotel for one night and after we met and discuss some matters with the group, we went back home. We didn't really went for shopping. If you want to go shopping, there are a few of shopping centers near the hotel: Perangin mall, Penang Times Square and a little far from hotel, Gurney Plaza. However, if you find those shopping centres are not enough for you, there's plenty of others there in Penang. Just search in your GPS or Googled it from your smart phone, you can find your way. It really helps you when using GPS inside Penang. The road can be really confusing.

Well, that's all from me this time. I hope you'll enjoy your day and have fun in life. For Muslims, don't forget to perform your duty towards our Creator ~ "Amal Maaruf Nahi Mungkar". Take care !
